I am very pleased to start revealing our poets for next month’s poetry Symposium. Our first poet to be revealed is Erica Bell, who I sought out after a suggestion from Corbel Stone Press and reading her fabulous poem ‘Cathedral’. I understand that a pamphlet is being readied for the day, too! Here’s her bio:
Erica Bell lives in Cumbria with her husband Ed and their collie, Rosie.
In 2013 she began her first major poetry project, 365 Miles, which led to an exhibition of poetry and photography for C-Art 2015.
Her work has been published by Corbel Stone Press in a number of their publications including Reliquiae and the Nature and Language Anthology. She won 2nd place at the Maryport Literary Festival in 2016.
In 2017 Erica was shortlisted in the Littoral Press Pamphlet Competition and was ‘highly commended’ in the Cannon Sonnets Competition.
She is currently working on a full-length collection exploring the landscape of grief and love through Conversations with a Dead Dog, which is a lot more fun than it sounds!
